Russian President Putin on the unrest in Makhachkala: it’s easy to throw a spark
Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the unrest at Makhachkala airport. According to the head of state, “it’s easy to throw a spark,” writes TASS.
He suggested that the events in Dagestan wanted to rock Russia from the inside.
“We must perceive all events with a sober head, this was brought up by those living abroad, including in Ukraine,” Putin said, commenting on what happened at the Makhachkala airport.
The President also emphasized that the reaction of the clergy to the pogroms in Dagestan was convincing. For this, Putin expressed gratitude.

Previously, it was reported that investigators had identified 20 riot participants at Makhachkala airport.
On the evening of October 29, a crowd of aggressive men arrived at the airport in Makhachkala after information about a plane arriving from Israel appeared on social networks. The men, shouting “Allahu Akbar,” burst onto the runway and into the service areas, where they were looking for Israeli citizens.
