Surprising the political sphere, an agency survey Analytical Intelligence on the Argentine presidential elections pointed out that candidate Javier Milei has a five-point lead over his opponent, Sergio Massa, Argentina’s current Minister of Economy.
The data is attracting the attention of the local press, as the company responsible for the survey was created by Sebastián Galmarini, Massa’s brother-in-law, according to the Argentine newspaper Clarin.
Between October 23rd and 29th, around 17,300 people were consulted by the agency across Argentina. When asked who they will vote for in the second round, they were divided between 52.5% for the Liberdade Avança coalition, by Milei, and 47.5% for Union for the Fatherland, from Massa.
A Analytical Intelligence states that its research has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.18%.
