The pictures, taken and published by Maxar Technologies, show some Palestinian cities and neighborhoods in the northern Gaza Strip, before and after the Israeli bombing, which began after the sudden Hamas attack.
The American company specializing in satellite images said that the first images were taken last May and the second this October.
One of the pictures shows some areas in the city of Beit Hanoun that were initially inhabited, before becoming almost completely destroyed.
Another photo documented the affected areas in the Al-Atatra and Al-Karama neighborhoods, north of Gaza, where buildings and green spaces appeared destroyed.
Since October 7, Israel has launched a violent bombardment on the Gaza Strip, which it says aims to “destroy Hamas’ military capabilities.”
Several countries are seeking a ceasefire and a humanitarian truce, after the clashes left thousands dead and wounded and massive material losses in Gaza.
The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development considered, on Wednesday, that the Gaza Strip has witnessed “16 years of declining development,” noting that the economic repercussions of the escalation in Gaza “have become impossible to determine.”
