The IAB Next 2023, promoted by IAB Brasil, starts this Tuesday, the 24th. The event, which is online and free, aims to develop digital advertising and will bring insights and trends about digital media and the use of new technologies in advertising. Over two days of meetings, on the mornings of October 24th and 25th, from 9am to 12pm, this year’s edition will bring together communication, marketing and advertising professionals to discuss topics relevant to the future of digital advertising.

IAB Next will feature national and international speakers, as well as discussion panels made up of talents and professionals in the field. In 2023, the focus will be on the transformation of media to digital and the role of segmented advertising, digital video, connected TV (CTV) and retail media. The Digital AdSpend 2023 survey and the new edition of the Brand Disruption report will also be exclusively presented.
“In its fourth edition, the meeting will coincide with the period in which companies and brands are thinking about planning for next year. In this sense, the focus of the event is to establish companies’ first contact with data, insights and trends that digital marketing professionals need to familiarize themselves with and have on their radar for their plans”, says Cris Camargo, CEO of IAB Brasil.
On Tuesday (24), the focus will be on TV 3.0 and how this new interactive space with high segmentation and personalization is transforming the way digital advertising is done on the big screen. The meeting will feature a talk by Jeffrey Cole (Center for the Digital Future), entitled “Digital Business: disruptions and trends for brands”, followed by a chat between Cole and Essio Floridi (Samsung Ads LATAM) about connected TV and a panel that will address the opportunities of TV 3.0 in the Brazilian market.
On Wednesday (25), at 9 am, Digital AdSpend will be launched, a report with the main data on investments in digital advertising in Brazil, in the first half of the year; and Brand Disruption Brasil, which brings disruptive market movements such as h-commerce, creator economy and metaverse.
The rest of the morning’s discussions will revolve around the future of retail and how the change in the use of data is leading advertisers to explore new media formats to reach consumers, with the participation of Jeffrey Bustos (IAB US) and other names from the market.
