Lautaro Martinez convicted for illegitimate dismissal of the babysitter: “They try to defame us by profiting from the death of a girl”
But a much more fiery message arrived a little while ago from Lautaro Martinez himself, who vented on his social media as follows: “I had decided to remain silent out of respect. But I will not allow my family to be shamed. We hired a person who was already ill, a lifelong friend of ours. We did a lot for her and her family. We paid for trips, helped find hospital beds, helped with treatment, with the accommodation of the family who we had to convince so that she would come and take care of her daughter who was dying. And her family, while her daughter was dying, tried to get money from us, tried to take advantage of the situation even after her death. We gave her help, great help, when she needed it. And now you’re trying to slander us? What kind of people are you that try to take advantage of the death of a child to get money?”
