MotoGp, Bagnaia: “I’ll do everything to be in Misano”
“It wasn’t a normal highside and it is very difficult for me now to give an explanation to what happened – explained Pecco Bagnaia -. It was a very strange crash and luckily I didn’t hurt myself. Already on the warm-up lap I had noticed that I didn’t have much rear grip. Now we will do everything to try to get back on track already in next week’s GP at Misano”.
And in the Ducati garage there is optimism about his recovery of Bagnaia. “Fortunately there are no fractures, it is very probable that Pecco will be on the track at Misano”, the words of Davide Tardozzi, team manager according to reports from Sky Sports.
MotoGp: Ducati, ‘Bastianini needs to have ankle surgery and won’t be at Misano’
“Enea Bastianini has a fracture in his left malleolus, which will require surgery which I believe will be made in Italy in the next couple of days, and also has a fracture in the left hand, I think the finger, but this is less worrying. It’s certainly a difficult season for him, we had seen some glimmers in the last few races; it was also penalized with a long-lap penalty in the next useful race. With the operation I think it can be ruled out that he can compete at Misano“. Says the Ducati sports director Paolo Ciabatti about the conditions of Enea Bastianini crashed in the first lap of the Catalan GP.
