US President Joe Biden on April 13, during a speech in Northern Ireland, invited the audience to “lick the world.” A video of the American leader’s speech has gone viral.
“Thank you, God bless you! Let’s lick the world! Let’s do it,” Biden said.
Some Internet users compared this phrase of the head of the White House with an incident that occurred with a religious leader of Tibetan Buddhism, when the 14th Dalai Lama asked to “suck the tongue” of a minor.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Biden was unable to sign the guest book in Dublin on his own. He had to get a clue sheet to deal with it.
In addition, during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, the US president was almost hit by a ball while he and a colleague watched children play on the court.
These are not the only incidents that happened to Biden during his visit to Ireland, where he arrived on April 11. So, during a speech at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland, the leader of the United States of America turned around and asked an invisible interlocutor not to jump. After that, Biden continued his speech as if nothing had happened.
