The conclusion of Resident Evil 4 Remake seems to hint at the next remake of resident Evil. There are a lot of speculations about what’s next for the series. It is rumored that Capcom is working on resident evil 9which is unavoidable, but it’s not clear which older game in the series will get the treatment of remake.
Resident Evil 5 seems like a safe bet, but there is also a chance that the first game will get a remake modern. Meanwhile, a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica is also under consideration. That being said, the end of resident evil 4 Remake does not hint at a return to the original game or to code veronicabut suggests Resident Evil 5.
At the end of Resident Evil 4 Remakethere is a scene with Wesker, and in this scene, players can see images of Excella Gionne, a character from Resident Evil 5 and Wesker’s business partner. Also, there are footage of the garden where Chris and Sheva discover the source of the Progenitor Virus in Resident Evil 5. These could just be easter eggs, but they seem to be deliberate nods to things to come. You can check out the scene in question below courtesy of Reddit user “twisteer94”:
I’m glad for her little cameo (My man already had a plan B)

For those who don’t know: Resident Evil 5 It was released in 2009 and is the best-selling single game in the series, with 8.5 million copies sold. In fact, it was the best-selling game of Capcom until Monster Hunter World in 2018.
However, despite its successful sales, it did not receive the same critical acclaim as other games in the series. For many fans, Resident Evil 5 and resident Evil 6, which focused more on action rather than survival horror, are low points of the series. For this reason, despite its popularity, making a remake of these games is not as simple as doing remakes from other games in the series.

Editor’s note: They are finally going to fix RE5! I hope they continue with 6 as well.
