The founder of the Russian Wagner mercenary force, Evgheni Prigozhin – who has recently accused Moscow’s military leadership of treason – said that the ammunition needed for his troops at the front will finally be sent by the Defense Ministry. Yesterday, Prigozhin – also known as ‘Putin’s chef’ – published the grisly image of dozens of men who he says were killed because Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of Staff Valery Gherasimov detained the necessary ammunition to boycott it. Neither of the two directly concerned has commented, but the ministry has rejected the accusation. In an audio message today, Prigozhin instead declared that thanks to the pressure he and others have exerted on the defense ministry, fruits have been obtained and ammunition is arriving at the front.
