To the point that it reached the Minister of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini, who re-shared it on his social profiles by writing: “Education, prevention, sanctions: we are already working on the new Highway Code which will introduce new rules and controls for those who drive electric scooters”. “And the limit of 20 km per hour that rental scooters reach – adds the leader of the League – must be the maximum speed beyond which they can no longer be sold or bought”.
Contacted by Repubblica, the 30-year-old rider explained that in reality he wasn’t making any deliveries at the time, but had entered the ring road because he was bored and was waiting for orders. “I didn’t have any orders to deliver at that moment – he tried to apologize -, also because with the ring road it would have taken me longer. I decided to take a ride on the ring road because I was bored”.
