Pnrr, Italy must achieve 27 goals by June 30 to receive 16 billion
Italy is called to reach out 27 goals by June 30, 2023, of which 20 milestones and 7 targets. Their achievement will make it possible to request the payment of the fourth installment of 16 billion euro from the European Commission. “The timely summoning of the control room“, meeting today at Palazzo Chigi, “confirms the commitment of President Meloni and the entire government to achieve all the objectives of the Pnrr, constantly verifying and monitoring all the next deadlines, as already done in recent months through the new method that assigns centrality to the functions and tasks of the control room. In fact, this method has already allowed this government to achieve i 55 objectives foreseen as at 31 December 2022”, declares the Minister for European Affairs, the South, Cohesion Policies and the Pnrr, Raffaele Fitto.
The control room of the Pnrr, chaired by Fitto, met precisely to take stock with all the central and territorial administrations. The meeting was also attended by the president of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces, Massimiliano Fedrigathe president of the Anci, Antonio De Caro, and the president of the Upi, Michele De Pascale. During the control room it was shared that, in the coming weeks, specific bilateral technical meetings will be convened where the implementation status of each measure will be verified, also in view of the start of the updating phase of the PNRR and inserting the chapter Repower Eu. This phase is part of the process of fruitful collaboration with the European Commission. The individual administrations were asked to provide elements and contributions to define measures to accelerate investments also in the light of the critical issues that emerged during the implementation phase.
