Mexicali, Baja California.- The Águilas de Mexicali silenced the offensive of the Cañeros de Los Mochis to match the series that takes place in the border capital of Baja California. The feathered won 2 runs for 0 to the greens in the second game of the confrontation that takes place in the Nido de los Águilas.
The races
The frontiersmen opened the scoring in the bottom of the fourth inning, when Reynaldo Rodríguez and Anthony Giansanti hit doubles to open the shootout.
Mexicali’s second run reached the eighth roll, when Alonzo Harris started the attack negotiating a walk, then Walter Ibarra hit an unstoppable and Reynado Rodríguez did the same to send Harris to the plate.
The victory went to the numbers Marcelo Martínez with work of 5 innings complete in which he allowed 3 unstoppables, gave away 3 walks and struck out 7. He was supported by; Isaac Jimenez, Seth Blair, Ernesto Zaragoza and Jesus Cruz.
The defeat was charged to Rafael Pineda, who stayed 4 innings in which he allowed 1 run, 3 hits, 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. He was relieved by; Ricardo Hernandez, Erubiel Armenta and Freddy Quintero.
