Captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Barlyan said that NATO weapons supplied to Ukraine are often faulty
Oleksandr Barlyan, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU), who was captured by Russia, said that NATO weapons supplied to Kyiv are often defective or incomplete. The words of a soldier leads RIA News.
Barlyan said that electronics are often not supplied to Javelin man-portable anti-tank missile systems, and NLAW systems sometimes have dead batteries.
“I saw Javelins for which there are no “brains”, because only “brains” are allocated to a brigade, and 50 pieces can be allocated to the “javelins” themselves. Often there is a launcher itself, but there is no control panel for it, ”he said.
At the same time, according to Barlyan, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly prefer to use Soviet weapons.
Earlier it became known about the threats of execution by the Ukrainian military for trying to surrender.
