The legendary iskelmä star Danny aka Ilkka Lipsanen has moved to an apartment building in Espoo.
Entertainment star Ilkka “Danny” Lipsanen has moved from Kirkkonummi to Espoo. Lipsanen moved from a detached house to an apartment triangle of more than 60 square meters.
Lipsanen managed to live in his Kirkkonummi house for 17 years. He moved into the house after separating from his wife Liisa from Lipsase.
According to Lipsanen, the time was now ripe for the Kirkkonummi house to get new tenants.
“I just turned 80, and I’m already thinking about the next generation. I want to make life easier for my children and also cut out unnecessary expenses,” Lipsanen tells HS.
According to Lipsanen, he has had time to organize his own life. After thinking about it, he decided that he no longer needed a big apartment in Finland.
“I plan to spend half the year at my summer apartment in Rauma and half abroad. My brother lives in Texas and my friends have apartments in Thailand. In addition, I enjoy the Spanish sun.”
Itswhere in Espoo the new apartment is located, Lipsanen wants to keep to himself.
According to Lipsanen, the reason why Espoo was chosen as the place to live is due to old habits and practical considerations.
“My secretary lives in the same apartment building, so it’s easier to manage things.”
Giving up the Kirkkonummi home brings changes to Lipsanen’s working life, as the building also housed the premises of the D production company. Now Lipsanen is looking for a separate space for the production company in Espoo.
Theretowhether a close friend moved into the apartment with him Helmi Loukasmäki22, Lipsanen answers evasively.
“We are not cohabiting, but he does have his own facilities.”
According to Lipsanen, no joint plans for the future have been made.
“You have to remember that I am 80 years old and he is younger, so we have always been aware that I will be the first to leave.”
Lipsase is currently in the middle of a busy autumn tour, and he says he is lucky that his health has held up.
“Most of my colleagues have already left and I myself have survived, so I’m moving forward with gratitude, but at the same time I’m trying to prepare for the future,” he says.
“Now I have organized it so that I have cut expenses and made possible the type of life I want to live from now on.”
