The latest chapter of the saga dedicated to assassins, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, has reached and exceeded 20 million players since its launch, which took place on November 10, 2020. Ubisoft itself announced it through its official Twitter account, taking advantage of the opportunity to thank all the players who played Eivor.
“Over 20 million Vikings have embarked on their epic journey into Valhalla alongside Eivor. From Norway to England, to the mythical realms of the gods. Thank you for taking this journey with us. Skal!”

20 million players does not mean that the game has reached the same number of copies sold, in fact these counts also include the players who are playing the title thanks to Ubisoft + and PlayStation Plus Extra.
Surely it is an excellent milestone for the company and that bodes well for the future of the saga, which will soon see the spin-off Assassin’s Creed Mirage which will have as its protagonist one of the NPCs of Valhalla, or Basim Ibn Ishaq and will see it. grow in his path within the brotherhood.
