Residents of Moscow and the metropolitan region will expect significant warming by the end of this week, and therefore the likelihood of snow, including wet, is excluded. This was announced on October 26 by the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Elena Volosyuk.
According to the meteorologist, precipitation until the end of the week is expected only in the form of rain.
“The temperature regime is predicted to be about four degrees above the long-term average. Therefore, we are not talking about snow yet, ”the forecaster quotes TASS.
On Wednesday, the air temperature in Moscow will rise to +4…+6, in the capital region – up to +3…+8, which fits into the usual climatic framework. The wind will blow from the southeast and south at a speed of 3-8 m/s. Atmospheric pressure will remain elevated – 751 mm Hg. In cloudy weather with clearings, there will be no significant precipitation, Volosyuk added.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that cloudy weather with clearings, in some places, light rain awaited Muscovites on October 26. During the day in Moscow, the air will warm up to +5…+7 degrees, at night the thermometers will drop to +2…+4.
On October 21, it was reported that the first snow fell at night in some areas of the Moscow region. The first precipitation was noticed in the north of the region near the village of Shakhovskaya.
