Camorra: a case of usury against a former Napoli footballer emerged
This morning it was performed a custody order by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naplesat the request of the local district anti-mafia Directorate, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations (GIP) at the Court of Naples against 11 people.
These people are accuste of usury, possession and trafficking of drugs, illegal possession of weapons, all charges aggravated by the objective of favoring the Camorra association “Baratto-Volpe”active in the Neapolitan district of Fuorigrotta and which falls within the sphere of influence and control of the Secondigliano Alliance or “the System”.
As the carabinieri of the provincial command of Naples know, among the suspects “there is a member of the Carabinieri”, accused of having committed the “crime of corruption for the performance of an act contrary to official duties”.
In the course of the investigations, moreover, they emerged nine cases of usury, committed to the detriment of entrepreneurs, including a well-known former Napoli soccer playeragainst which the suspects would have applied interest rates ranging between 25% and 40%.
These are the names of the people arrested: Mario Baratto, Giuseppe Bucolo, Umberto Graziano, Michele Scarca, Gennaro Scala, Gaetano Staiano, Patrizio Straiano, Vittoria Trapanese, Alessandro Volpe, Angelo Volpe, Gennaro Volpe.
