The Cincinnati Bengals had a disappointing start to the season National Football League (NFL), adding 2 straight losses, the first against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the second against the Dallas Cowboys.
As runners-up in the Super Bowl, those results looked unacceptable, and criticism began to surface, however, the Bengals got back on track winning 2 games in a row, beating 2 competitive teams on the year, the New York Jets and my Miami Dolphins.
The loss caught up with them again in week 5 against their rivals from the North Division of the American Conference, the Baltimore Ravensbut quickly returned to winning ways in consecutive weeks, beating the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons.
Burrow sees improvement
Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow was excited and pleased with the results of the last couple of weeks, but he knows there’s still a long way to go to be the team that made it to the Super Bowl.
“I feel comfortable. We’re getting our groove. We are finding a rhythm and the defense will continue to do what they do. We’re finding our grooveBurrow told the team’s official website.
Burrow’s numbers so far are outstanding, being second in passing yards with 2,000 and 97, third in touchdown passes with 15, with 68.9 percent completion rate, third best in the NFL, with fifth best passer rating in the league at 102.7.
