Users of the Metro Collective Transport System (STC), of Line 2, reported that the driver was driving while intoxicated and that put them at risk by opening the doors in both directions.
Through social networks, videos were broadcast in which the moment in which the the driver is removed from the convoy by elements of the police and they support him so that he walks towards the exit.
Guillermo Calderón, the director of the STC, reported that the driver “was relieved immediately and transferred to the breathalyzer test, if it is positive, the corresponding sanction will be applied that implies the definitive cancellation of the service”.

This was reported through his Twitter account, where he added that the operational personnel involved will be investigated and if they have incurred in any irresponsibility, the corresponding sanctions will also be applied.
“Throw me a stoppage so they don’t run me, don’t be bastards; to Chile, that’s my life,” says the driver, in another video where staff are shown carrying out a breathalyzer test.
