The Dubai Sports Council revealed the competition program for the 11th edition of the Beach Soccer Confederations Cup organized by the Dubai Sports Council, in cooperation with the FIFA Beach Soccer Committee, and its competitions will be held on Kite Beach in Umm Suqeim from 01 to 6 November 2022 with the participation of 8 teams representing different continents of the world.
Our national team will start its matches at 5:15 pm against Spain, after the match between America and Japan, which will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, the first of next November, and the first day will also witness the confrontation of Saudi Arabia, the new guest in the tournament, with Brazil, the three-time champion. 2014, 2016 and 2017, and the five-time world champion for the years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2017, Paraguay also plays against Iran, the three-time champion of the tournament.
On the second day, Japan and Paraguay meet, Brazil collides with Spain, our national team will meet Saudi Arabia at 6:45 pm, and Iran will play America at 8:00 pm.
The qualifiers for the group stage qualifying for the semi-finals will end on the third day of the tournament on Thursday, November 3, where the United States will face Paraguay, Saudi Arabia will play against Spain, and our national team will play against Brazil, while Iran will face its Japanese counterpart, and the ranking matches will be held for the fifth to eighth places. At 4:00 pm on Friday, November 4, followed by organizing a star party to honor the best teams, players and coaches in beach soccer in the world at 8:00 pm, and the semi-final matches will be held at 6:45 pm on Saturday, November 5. The match for third and fourth place and the final will be played on Sunday, November 6th.
The championship matches will be held in a league system from one round, with the first and second place winners from each group qualifying to the semi-finals, which play by the knockout system, so that the winners qualify for the final match, and the losers compete for bronze medals in the match to determine the third and fourth places.
Earlier, the Dubai Sports Council held a draw for the distribution of teams into two groups, with the participation of international star Patrick Kluivert, and the draw resulted in our national team falling into the first group, which includes Saudi Arabia, Spain and Brazil, while the second group included the teams of Iran, The United States of America, Japan, and Paraguay.
