The pavilions of Rho-Fiera Milano will host the event from 12 to 14 October Next Mobility Exhibition, a new exhibition dedicated to the ecological transition of the automotive sector and the evolution of mobility. Among the initiatives scheduled as part of NME there will also be space for a moment of debate organized by Federmoturazione and Confcommercio Mobilità which will be among the appointments of the inaugural day of 12 October starting at 3 pm.
The talk, entitled “Thinking a different way to move intelligently. Inclusive mobility for a smarter city … but is Italy ready? ” will be divided into two distinct moments: the presentation of the study on mobility by Pierluigi Ascani, President of Format Research, and a round table moderated by the journalist Pierluigi Bonora, Promoter of #FORUMAutoMotive, with the participation of authoritative guests from the world of mobility and of politics. Wanted by two organizations that represent over 250,000 companies in Italy of the sector, with about 450,000 employees, the meeting will offer the opportunity to face the change taking place in cities with a scientific and not purely ideological approach. Their evolution will be analyzed, which becomes smarter and greener every day, thanks above all to micro-mobility and interchange hubs. The topics addressed will be the hot but still confused ones of the ecological and technological transition seen from different points of view: that of those who sell and that of private citizens forced to deal with these changes.
To open the debate will be the intervention of Simonpaolo Buongiardino, President of Federmotatorie and Confcommercio Mobilità, followed by the presentation of the study recently completed by Format Research. It will then be the turn of the round table, at which the participation of Laurence Bannerman, Secretary General of Aipark is confirmed; Folco Gervasutti, Pr Manager of Voi; Claudio Spinaci, President of Unem, and the MEPs Paolo Borchia and Massimiliano Salini.
