Watch brand TAG Heuer and sports car manufacturers Porsche presented two limited-edition watches to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic 911 Carrera RS 2.7 model.
Launched in 1972, the Porsche 911 RS 2.7 was the first to carry the Carrera name. Only 1,580 units of the model were produced, with 27 color options for the time. And two of these colors were chosen to be present in the limited edition RS 2.7: blue and red.

The limited editions will be based on the 42mm Tag Heuer Carrera watch. The blue version will only have 500 units produced. The blue and white colors combine in the hands, case and buttons. The fabric strap features the Porsche Carrera model logo, as well as an extra strap with ergonomic H-shaped links for more formal occasions.
The red version is even more exclusive, with 250 units. The Porsche-specific red stands out against the white dial. The bracelet, in the same tone, is made of crocodile skin with a gold-plated buckle.
Both models will be sold on TAG Heuer’s websites, stores and distributors.
