On the occasion of the upcoming launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, Activision invited a cast of stars to record a video of a song with military rhythms along with Nicki Minaj, Pete Davidson, Kane Brown, Bukayo Saka, Lil Baby, Lando Norris and squads around the world to launch the game, available globally on Oct. 28. The television campaign, titled “Squad Up”, also features Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, David Long Jr. and Nuke Squad of the Faze Clan, consisting of FaZe Swagg, FaZe Santana, FaZe JSmooth and FaZe Booya. In the trailer, the stars perform a military cadence, the traditional call-and-response chorus of work sung by the military as they run or march, through a series of team and individual scenes, linked together to form a single song.
