A UFO has been spotted on the Dutch highway. Only then driving and identified.
When a new sports car is launched, it usually takes quite some time before a copy is spotted in the Netherlands. In fact, some cars are simply never spotted in our country.
That does not apply to the brand new KTM X-Bow GT-XR. Less than a month after the official unveiling, @yoeri_fakkeldij managed to spot one on Dutch soil. So he has a big first.
Apart from that, the KTM X-Bow GT-XR is in any case a very spectacular appearance to encounter. The term ‘road race car’ is used rather lavishly, but in this case it is the only correct term.
The X-Bow GT-XR is the street version of the X-Bow GTX, which is only intended for the track. That is why this car also looks like it has nothing to do on the public road.
With 500 hp five-cylinder and a weight of 1,130 kg, the performance is just as spectacular as the appearance. At least that’s our guess. KTM itself has not yet released figures. Only that the X-Bow GT-XR can reach 280 km/h, but top speed is of secondary importance. This is above all a car that can drive anything and everyone on the Nordschleife.
Since the KTM X-Bow GT-XR is brand new, the number of copies can be counted on one hand. In any case, it will of course remain a rare car, because this is a very niche product. If only because of the price tag of about three tons.
It remains to be seen whether there will be one on a Dutch license plate, but the first copy has already been spotted in our country. Yoeri thus deservedly wins the Autoblog Spot of the Week. His spot will be on the front page for a week and he can also receive an Autoblog cap or hat.
Next Sunday we will announce a new Spot of the Week at the same time and place. Did you also come across something special? Upload your photos to Autoblog Spots and who knows, maybe your spot will appear in this section next time!
