iPhone 15 should have the Dynamic Island on all modelsaccording to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), therefore a person informed of the facts or at least close to the area in question.
Young is particularly well versed in displays and their use in consumer electronic devices, a topic on which he has considerable say. According to him, the Dynamic Island is limited to the iPhone 14 Pro this year because it is the first introduction of the new solution, but it will become one common standard also to the basic version of the iPhone starting next year. iPhone 15, in short, is destined to have the Dynamic Island in all models, apparently.
In fact, theabandonment of the notch in favor of a configuration with a hole in the display was long overdue and expected on all variants of the iPhone 14, but Apple has instead decided for a mixed approach, with the introduction of the particular Dynamic Island only on the iPhone 14 Pro.
Starting with iPhone 15, the particular system that uses the black oval in the upper part of the display will instead be usable on all models. According to Young, however, i 120 Hz LTPO display instead they will continue to be a prerogative of the iPhone 15 Pro, without moving to the base models of the next version of the Apple smartphone.
