And the German “Robert Koch” Institute for Disease Control announced that this rate, which is the number of infections per 100,000 people over a period of seven days, is currently 257.5, compared to 249.9 yesterday, Friday. The rate was 230.6 a week ago, and 311.8 a month ago. The institute added that during the past 24 hours, health offices in Germany recorded 36,613 new cases of the virus, compared to 30,166 cases last Saturday.
The number of deaths caused by the disease during the past 24 hours reached 88, compared to 82 deaths a week ago.
According to the institute’s data, the number of HIV infections since the start of its outbreak in Germany in the spring of 2020, has reached 32,680,355.
