The PRIANPRD trio is getting divorced because of the same lover who brought them together: corruption. At first, the PRIAN wanted to sell us the idea that “the only way to rescue Mexico was the great PRIAN alliance”; but as the saying goes that the tree that is born crooked, its trunk never straightens, and that married couple or amasiato was born dead on both sides, first, how can we believe that they who represent the worst of the PRI and PAN past and who generated that fed up citizens were now going to be the “saviors” and the solution of the future of the problems that they themselves generated in terms of education, health, economy and security?
A better future can never be built with the worst of the past. It is as incongruous as believing that the Nazis could become the UN and that Hitler would have been a great Secretary General or ambassador for peace. On the other hand, it is evident that the historical rivalry of decades of confrontations between the PRI and PAN was the mother of all inconsistencies and therefore lacks credibility, therefore they were doomed to electoral failure as evidenced by the 19 of 21 state elections between 2020 and 2021.
The inconsistency has been from start to finish, even just 3 weeks ago the PAN and the PRD defended their “great ally” the national leader of the PRI Alito Moreno, calling him a “brave and honest man, who was the victim of persecution government policy”. A political persecution implies the fabrication and imputation of crimes to the persecuted, very different is to exhibit the audios and calls of one after another act of corruption, abuse and cynicism of a cowardly and cynical type who has confessed his misdeeds with his own voice as is the case of the unpresentable Alejandro Moreno.
Now the national president of the PRD, Jesús Zambrano, calls him a “bully little boy from elementary school” and Marko Cortez, the national president of the PAN, accuses him of being a “traitor” and questions him for “bending over to win his impunity” to avoid jail. And now they come out with another ridiculous inconsistency, a lie that they themselves know is impossible, saying that “the alliance continues but without Alito Moreno.” They know perfectly well that Moreno modified the statutes of the PRI and took from his national political council the power to name each and every one of the candidates for popular election positions as well as the signatures of partisan alliances; the PAN and the PRD are also part of this hypocritical cynicism.
In reality, these crooks insisted on “going to bed together in a trio” for one reason only, to guarantee for themselves and their accomplices the multiple deputies and senators, since in an election by citizen vote these partisan hindrances would never win a seat or a seat. . For his part, Moreno and his accomplice Rubén Moreira, coordinator of the PRI caucus in San Lázaro, refute the PAN and the PRD that “they are not going to win alone.” It is evident that Alito is desperate because he knows that the file against him to exonerate him and put him in jail is solid and on the other hand Moreira’s interests are in preserving the cacicazgo that he, his brother Humberto Moreira (another unpresentable file) have built both former governors of Coahuila and the current governor Riquelme.
Beyond the debate and vote on the national guard, the events of this week and of years ago show by far that the last thing that interests the representatives of the past is the security of the country. The sad thing is that the debate has focused on the power of arms to “combat insecurity” and no one is discussing a fundamental solution that undoubtedly lies in education. Their myopia does not allow them to see that the solution to the problem of violence does not lie in weapons, but in how education is imparted in the classroom.
