Two families with children moved together to an ecovillage in the country. What is it really like there?
Close a cluster of red, gray and orange-yellow houses shines from behind the field. Kurje farm in Pirkanmaa’s Vesilahti is one of about 15 ecovillages in Finland.
There are 10 households living in the village, half of which are families with children. Residents are united by recycling, organic food, carpooling and the desire to learn self-sufficiency.
