Barcelona has acquired several players from the transfer market.
German head coach of soccer giant Bayern Munich Julian Nagelsmann amazes Barcelona’s ability to acquire players in the football transfer market.
Barcelona recently acquired a Polish striker from Bayern Munich Robert Lewandowski, for which the club paid 45 million euros. In addition, a Brazilian winger will join the team Raphinha with 55 million euros.
With free transfers, Barcelona acquired a topper by Andreas Christensen and midfielder Franck Kessién.
“They buy a lot of players, I don’t know how,” Nagelsmann said at a press conference in Washington, according to the AFP news agency.
“It is the only team in the world that has no money but can buy any player. I think that’s crazy. They find solutions. I don’t know how, but yes, they have a better team than last season.”
Nagelsmann said that the transfer of Lewandowski was a successful move by the team, even if the loss of a tough goal gun stings. The striker had announced that he wanted to leave Bayern, and the contract would have expired next summer.
Previously, the former chairman of Bayern has also commented on Barcelona’s transfers Uli Hoeness.
“They are obviously economic con artists who always find a new bank to grant a loan, even though they already have a lot of debt,” Hoeness said when Lewandowski was rumored to join the club.
Barcelona’s debts have previously been estimated to be in the billions. Also a star player Lionel Messi’s leaving the club a year ago was due to financial problems. Since then, the club has arranged its loans and entered into new partnership agreements, for example with the music streaming service Spotify.
