These passengers on a commercial flight were lucky enough to spot the rocket from SpaceX, Elon Musk’s space company, which had just been launched in Florida.
“Gentlemen passengers, it’s your lucky day”, the pilot told his crew, “On the left side of the plane: a rocket launch over the Florida coast.” Passengers on a commercial flight leaving Philadelphia for Miami were able to see a rocket moving into space. Some took the opportunity to record the unusual moment on video.

“It’s almost level with the plane heading north,” the ship’s captain continued. It is known that, that same day, SpaceX, the millionaire Elon Musk’s space company, had planned a launch of one of its rockets.
In a video shared by a passenger, it can be seen that the plane is not very far from the SpaceX rocket, for the flash of its thrusters and the speed of its trajectory are clearly seen.
Musk’s company has expressed a desire to conquer Mars and, most likely, this launch was one step closer to that goal. Without a doubt, the people on this flight were very lucky.
