New rules to ease the isolation of Covid-positive people in Italy could come soon. Among the hypotheses under consideration: the possibility in the absence of symptoms to undergo the end-of-isolation swab before the currently mandatory 7 days. The test could be performed after 48 hours without symptoms and, in case of negative result, go back immediately free to go out. From what Adnkronos Health learns, this is one of the topics discussed with the Regions and, once the points have been defined, the next step would be the preparation of a circular from the Ministry of Health that puts the new course on paper. .
Although the final version of the new rules is still to be discussed, among the other hypotheses that are being evaluated there is also that of reduce the maximum duration of isolation to 10-15 days from the current 21.
