Browser Artamonov spoke about robotic firefighters that threaten the Black Sea Fleet
The United States has provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with fire fighting robots that threaten the Russian Black Sea Fleet. About it informed military observer Oleksandr Artamonov in a comment to the Ukraina.ru portal.
The expert refused to assess the ability of the Black Sea Fleet to repel underwater kamikaze robots, but noted that these devices have a number of characteristics that allow them to successfully perform combat missions.
“They are [собраны] made of composite materials, so they are difficult to spot. They are poorly caught on the radar (…) This is a mini-mosquito fleet that can bite big ships, ”Artamonov said. He added that the robotic fireships can travel up to 112 nautical miles, that is, about 207.5 kilometers.
The military observer stressed that the United States has already trained the Armed Forces of Ukraine to handle such robots.
Earlier, a member of the Russian hacker group RaHDIt, on condition of anonymity, said that US intelligence supports cooperation with Ukraine. According to him, the US agency is transmitting radar data and satellite images to Kyiv, including footage of Russian territory, which is later subjected to rocket and artillery attacks.
