Every summer the heat increases. Although there is always a way to cool down during this season, video game consoles do not have as many options when it comes to reducing their temperature. Thus, Nintendo has shared a series of recommendations to prevent your Switch from overheating and thus suffering from a problem.
Through its official account in Japanese, Nintendo shared a couple of recommendations that all users should follow to prevent the Switch from suffering from any problem related to the high temperatures that we suffer today. This is what he mentioned about it:
“Playing a Nintendo Switch in a high temperature area can cause the temperature of the console to rise. Use the console in areas between 5 and 35 °C
Also, blocking the air intake and exhaust vents can cause the console to heat up. Allow good ventilation around these vents.”

Remember that the battery a Nintendo Switch in its handheld mode can slow down quickly if the temperature of the console rises significantly. In this way, it will be better to follow Nintendo’s recommendations so that your console does not suffer from any problem that will have negative repercussions in the long run.
On related topics, Nintendo has announced a new Kirby game. Similarly, a special edition Switch of Splatoon 3 already underway.
Editor’s Note:
It’s horrible when the Switch’s battery drops rapidly. This is a problem that mainly affects the first models of the console. However, with the 1.1 and OLED model, this is not so much of an issue anymore. We hope that these recommendations help you a lot.
