After the announcement of the release date of God of War Ragnarok, Sony Santa Monica also talked about the different collector’s editions that will be present once the game is released: among these we find the Jotnar Edition which contains a map inside.
God of War, the reboot of the saga released in 2018 did not allow access to all realms, since they simply weren’t modeled in the game. Among the nine kingdoms, some can be visited during the main story, namely Midgard, Alfheim, Helheim and Jötunheim, Niflheim and Muspelheim. Asgard, Vanaheim and Svartalfheim are inaccessible. But now it seems that God of War Ragnarok will finally give us the opportunity to visit all nine realms.
In the video shared by the team where the Collector and Jotnar Edition are presented, we could see the contents of the latter. And precisely it includes a fabric game map, which represents the nine kingdoms in a stylized version. It features a text in runes, the world tree Yggdrasil and the nine kingdoms.
Fans on Reddit especially noticed a figure standing in the background of Muspelheim. Many imagine that it is surely Surtur, the fire demon, Lord of Muspelheim, and above all a prominent character of Ragnarok. A prominent character that important then could undoubtedly be part of the game.
We remind you that God of War Ragnarok will be available on November 9 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
