It is a project edited by Tencent Games that will soon arrive on iOS and Android mobiles.
The attention of readers and fans of the Avatar universe may be focused on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, an action and adventure video game signed by the creators of The Division 2, but while Ubisoft decides or not to leave us, from 20th Century they press the accelerator and they rent the license of their epic science fiction story to Tencent, which has been preparing Avatar: Reckoning for a few months.
This is an action-shooter RPG for iOS and Android that we already told you about at the beginning of the year. Now, those responsible have taken a walk through an event organized by the Asian conglomerate, presenting a powerful trailer that takes players back to lush Pandora, showing from towering ancient trees to mountains, rivers and banshees flying freely in the sky.
With this document, they say from Tencent, players can not only feel the fantasy and magnificence of Pandora, but also part of the content of the mobile RPG-shooter, making it clear how fluid the video game combats will be. Accompanying the trailer you can also see several images of the project that, it seems, will arrive first in China, although its release date has not been detailed.
Avatar: Reckoning promises to immerse players in a cutting-edge mobile experience packed with an independent story where the Resource Development Administration, or RDA, engages in combat with a new Na’vi clan, forcing players to make their own decisions in a team-based experience. At the moment no further details about the proposal have been shared.
