It seems that Sony stay withdrawing the prepaid cards for subscription a PlayStation Plus, at least from the shops that still had them available. In fact, the switch to digital top-ups has already occurred for some time for several retailers, including in Italy.
As we know, the new PlayStation Plus will debut on June 23 and everything suggests that the two are connected, that is, that the company has taken advantage of the renewal of the service to complete the transition.
According to what was reported by VGC, the cards are still available at chains such as Best Buy and Target in the US, while they have disappeared from the shelves of Walmart and it seems that not even Amazon sells them anymore.
As for the UK, PS Plus prepaid cards are still found at Currys outlets, while they are no longer available from Amazon, Game, Smyths or Argos and the official PlayStation UK site does not allow them to be purchased.
