“The spell” is one of the most representative franchises of the horror genre in recent years. The film, which features a couple of paranormal investigators, was inspired by the story of a house that is over 300 years old, located in Harrisville, United States.
The property, whose last owners were Cory and Jennifer Heinzen, paranormal investigators in real life, acquired the property in order to open its doors to other investigators. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they were forced to sell it to a new owner.

Who is the new owner of the house that inspired “The Conjuring”?
Jacqueline Nunez is the new owner of the famous house, which she bought for $1.5 million dollars, 27% more than the initial value that the property had last September, when it was initially for sale.
“I came to visit and I thought ‘I must have this house’”, Nuñez said in an interview with The Boston Globe.
The curious condition to be able to acquire the house of “El conjuro”
previous owners, Cory and Jennifer Heinzenindicated that the reason they decided to sell the house was that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family realized that running a haunted house was something they could no longer handle.
Although several offers rained down on them, they indicated that they preferred to choose a buyer with the same passions, someone with a deep paranormal belief.
However, as this is a haunted place, they made it a condition that the new owner not live in the house all year round, due to the energy it transmits. Now, meeting this condition will depend only on Jacqueline Nunez.
