The draw will be made through the “Pancadão de Prêmios” website; whoever wants to participate, will have to register until this 6th
THE triplex in Guarujáattributed to former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (EN) by Operação Lava Jato, will be drawn on the internet this Saturday (28.May.2022).
In 2018, the property was auctioned for R$2.2 million by businessman Fernando Gontijo. After listing it for just R$49.90 a night on Airbnb, Gontijo decided to give it away on the site. Prize Pancadão. To participate in the draw, it is necessary to sign the website by 11:59 pm this Friday (May 27). Subscription costs from R$ 19.90.
The apartment is in the Solaris building, in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo. It has 297 square meters, 215 of which are private and 82 are in common areas. It also includes living room and balcony, kitchen and service area, toilet, 4 bedrooms, 2 suites, swimming pool and barbecue.
The triplex case yielded the PT’s 1st sentence in Lava Jato. In it, Lula was sentenced to prison and spent 580 days at the PF (Federal Police) Superintendence in Curitiba. The conviction removed the former president from the 2018 elections by framing him in the Clean Record Law.
In December 2021, however, the MPF (Federal Public Ministry) recognized the statute of limitations of the case after annulment derived from the recognition of former judge Sergio Moro as partial. Lula always denied being the owner of the property.
According to Gontijo, this will be “the best outcome this property could have”.
