Governor Rubén Rocha Moya gave his cabinet officials 48 hours to withdraw any lawsuit or litigation against journalists. This in reference to the indications that one of his secretaries has legal actions against communicators.
In an official circular addressed to the heads of the secretariats and administrative entities of the state government, it points out that respect for freedom of thought and expression constitutes one of the fundamental postulates of the Fourth Transformation. Because that is the only way to aspire to a democratic society.
Likewise, the events that occurred recently stand out in the official letter, especially the deprivation of life of the journalist Luis Enrique Ramírez, which they say are a reason for reflection on the guarantee of the free exercise of the profession in the state.
Given this, it points out that in the current administration they do not harmonize with the exercise of legal actions against journalists for expressions disseminated in the performance of their profession, for which they call the officials who are in said assumption to, within a period of 48 hours, appear before the corresponding instances to formulate their withdrawal. In case of disagreement, they are exhorted to present their resignation from the position.
In fact, during the Semanera conference, Rubén Rocha had advanced what he later confirmed with the circular, that officials who do not share his way of thinking will have to remove them because they cannot be in his government, and he does so in honor of Luis Enrique Ramirez.
Definitely this is a great measure because the demands of officials are clear intimidation against journalists and seek to prevent them from exercising freely. Hopefully there will also be legal action for the defamation and smear campaigns on social networks from false portals that are financed by these politicians. attentive.
Outstanding. In a very interesting exercise, EL DEBATE published an analysis of the possible substitutes for the mayor of Culiacán, Jesús Estrada Ferreiro. Before the almost imminent impeachment, six names began to sound very loud: Graciela Domínguez, Jesús Ibarra, Aarón Rivas, Feliciano Castro, Javier Gaxiola and Enrique Díaz.
Two letters came out of the State Congress, Deputy Jesús Ibarra, whose closeness to Morena’s national leader stands out as one of his strengths, and Feliciano Castro, coordinator of the Morena party and president of Jucopo, who has been one of the main opponents of Estrada Ferreiro.
From the cabinet there are three very strong prospects, the Secretary of Education, Graciela Domínguez; the head of Economy, Javier Gaxiola; and Administration and Finance, Enrique Díaz. It is where we see the greatest possibilities, due to the trust they have generated in their positions, the acceptance in Congress and closeness with the Executive.
Another profile that should not be ruled out is former mayor Aarón Rivas, he could be the big surprise. For a long time he has dreamed of occupying a federal delegation, he has a great acceptance in all the parties. He also has the strength that he is not confronted with any political group or sector. The governor could work with him and knows how to download resources from the federation for public works. Don’t lose sight of it.
Schedule. Tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., the State Congress will vote on the Mandate Revocation Law for Governor of Sinaloa, let us remember that the State Executive sent the initiative to harmonize with federal law. Surely it will be approved without problems.
