Former Minister of Education wrote that high school is “bad” (right is bad) and was criticized by netizens
Former Sao Paulo mayor Fernando Haddad (EN) made a post on his Twitter profile this Friday (22.Apr.2022) criticizing high school in São Paulo, the state in which he is a pre-candidate for the government. The tweet, however, drew attention for containing a grammatical error. The post was deleted and was available in this link.
The publication by the former Minister of Education was criticized by netizens, who pointed out a grammar error in the use of the word. “bad”.
According to the Portuguese language, the word “bad” is used to refer to something or someone in a negative way – it is the opposite of “well”. At the time the correct spelling would be “bad”which can be used as an adverb to indicate something was not done well — as opposed to “good”.
“High school is very badin general, but in São Paulo, which is the richest state in the federation, we should have state-of-the-art education”, wrote.
