Matilda Castren, who has played three rounds, is split 30th in the LPGA Tour tournament.

Finnish golfer Matilda Castren skipped his best lap result today in the LPGA Tour in Thailand when, like yesterday’s lap, he toured the field with 68 strokes.
Thunderstorms teased the players for the second day in a row, but Castren finished his round again and got out from under the thunder before the lightning interrupted the round.
“It was a pretty stable game today. There were a lot of good approaches and a lot of good bird places,” Castren said in a statement.
Bogi in the 18th hole was left to dig.
“I hit a pretty good wedge, but it was a little too long and it came down the uphill. It took a terrible twist and leaked out of the putting green. It was a little special, I didn’t expect that,”
Castren has used 206 strokes in three rounds and is scoring ten under a pair.
At the time of the suspension, 24 players had not finished their rounds, so Castren’s split 30th place could still change. There were six strokes to the top ten. Top two Xiyu Lin and Nanna Koerstz Madsen were in the score 19 under a pair.
“Tomorrow’s goal is not to have bogs for par 5, rather birdies. There shouldn’t be anything new for tomorrow, but there should be a lot of birdies to make it even a short time up that leaderboard,” Castren planned the final round.
