The remarkable progress in completing the project is the result of the exceptional efforts made by the department, in addition to its constant endeavor to involve government agencies, with the aim of launching a distinguished and comprehensive project that meets its current and future workforce requirements.
The department had previously organized an expanded meeting that witnessed distinguished participation from government departments, with the aim of designing a methodology and standards for determining levels and job titles, determining the quality and value of jobs in government departments, based on the level of skills required, and building a comprehensive vision of the departments’ current and future workforce needs.
It is expected that the effects of this project will be to support government agencies to keep pace with future changes and meet future requirements in the labor market, which contributes to improving the efficiency and performance of government agencies, by directing human resources more effectively towards achieving institutional goals, in addition to qualifying sustainable talents who enjoy flexibility. The main completion stages of the project included designing frameworks to determine the cognitive framework, job levels, and future skills, developing a matrix of technical, behavioral, and leadership competencies for Dubai government jobs, preparing a mechanism to predict future jobs, based on strategic direction and standard comparisons, in addition to developing unified and comprehensive job cards for government jobs.
