Yesterday, the World Health Organization announced that 727 people were killed in 464 Israeli attacks on health care facilities in the Gaza Strip since October 7.
The United Nations organization revealed, in a post on its account on the “X” platform, that 727 people were killed and 933 people were injured, in addition to 101 health facilities and 113 ambulances being damaged as a result of Israeli attacks on health facilities since the beginning of the war in Gaza.
A fifth of the attacks (37 percent) occurred in Gaza City, nearly a quarter (23 percent) in the northern Gaza Strip, and more than a quarter (28 percent) in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Strip.
The World Health Organization stressed that “health care is not a military target.”
The global organization also called for respecting international law, and providing effective protection for civilians and health care in the Strip.
