The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Running Academy’s seventh race, which was held in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, was a great success, with the number of participants reaching «650» of jogging enthusiasts and in a distinctive sporting experience in a natural beachy atmosphere. For a distance of 3 km, 5 km and 10 km, the 10 km race consisting of two rings began at a distance of 5 km at 7:30 am, while the 5 km class started at 7:45 am, and the 3 km class started at 8:15 am, Precautions were followed during the race.
The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Running Academy Race – the seventh edition – was held on Al Hudayriat Island, which includes a series of recreational, sporting and side activities, with facilities, services and spaces available that constitute a significant factor in organizing various races and sports activities.
The seventh edition of the race witnessed a noticeable increase in the number of entries compared to last year, which is in line with the Academy’s vision to make sport an element of the daily life of Emirati women, in light of the great support that women’s sport enjoys from various sides, which helped to continue organizing the race for a year. After a year, until it became in its seventh edition this year to attract as many women as possible, and the running race series became one of the most successful activities that the Academy holds in the capital Abu Dhabi, and it has a great turnout from women.
