44 children benefit from “our happiness to see us”

Counselor Ahmed Muhammad Al Khateri, head of the Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department, revealed that the community initiative “Our Happiness is Our Vision” recently launched by the department to see the children in custody, benefited about 44 boys and girls within 15 families.
He stated that the Emirates Association for Social Development in its various branches was chosen as an appropriate site for implementing the provisions of the vision, which comes under the follow-up and supervision of the Family Court in the Courts Department, and that the initiative comes with the aim of supporting community cohesion, enhancing family cohesion, reducing family disputes and conflicts between the parties to the family and maintaining psychological and stability children.

Counselor Ahmed Al-Khateri told Al-Ittihad that the number of custody cases in which the order to implement a vision was ordered reached 15 executive files containing the provisions of the vision at the association’s headquarters, and 286 meetings that were supervised by the Family Court since the launch of the pilot phase of the initiative in August of the year the past.
He stated that all meetings are currently taking place at the association’s headquarters in Al Dhait, pointing out that the main reasons that lead to this type of case are the result of family disputes between spouses, in which children fall victim.
He pointed out that the positive impact of the initiative and its reflection on the children in custody is to reduce the percentage of disputes and disputes between separated families regarding the agreement on neutral places that satisfy all parties to implement the provisions of the vision in them.
He added: Providing a suitable and appropriate environment that preserves the psyche of the children in custody, and the high percentage of cases that require the implementation of the provisions of the vision at the association’s headquarters.
He stressed that the community initiative works to facilitate the affairs of separated families who have files related to the provisions of the vision, by creating an appropriate environment that brings them together with children in custody, providing the appropriate atmosphere according to models approved by the court and submitting reports to the Personal Status Execution Judge.
