Ciudad Juarez.- This weekend, 35 men and three women ended up in a cell at the Total Civic Recovery Center (Cerecito) after they were found driving under the influence of alcohol.
The head of the General Coordination of Road Safety, César Alberto Tapia Martínez, reported that the offenders were arrested after they committed some violation of the traffic regulations and were found to be intoxicated, which was confirmed in each case after the application of a breathalyzer test.
He said that on Friday eight people were arrested, on Saturday 13 high-risk drivers were removed from the roads and in just six hours on Sunday 17 people were arrested, all of them under the age of first or second degree of intoxication.
