3 dead and 15 injured as a result of strikes in Ukraine
Several air strikes resulted in three deaths and the injury of 15 other people in eastern and northeastern Ukraine, especially in Kharkiv, the country’s second largest city, according to what local authorities reported on Sunday.
“In Pokrovsk, a missile hit killed two people and damaged a house,” Vadim Velashkin, governor of the Donetsk region, said via the Telegram app.
This town is located about 60 km northwest of Donetsk, the capital of the region.
A third person was killed in a raid on “Monachenvkan,” according to what was reported by Oleg Sinigubov, governor of the Kharkiv region (northeast of the country).
He added that “the body of an 88-year-old woman was recovered from under the rubble” of a house.
Earlier, Sinigubov announced that another attack resulted in at least ten people being injured in Kharkiv.
The governor of the Kharkiv region said on Telegram that the city was bombed by a “guided aerial bomb.”
Another attack resulted in five people being injured, including a girl who was born in 2015, as Oleg Snegubov had previously indicated.
In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that the Russian army launched 24 drones during the night of Saturday and Sunday, confirming that it shot down 23 of them.
