The activities of the “Summer of Innovation” program at the Dubai Police, which was held for a week at the Innovation Lab at the headquarters of the General Command, were concluded, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Mohamed Rafie, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs in Dubai Police.
The program, which was organized by the Dubai Police Innovation Council and the General Administration of Administrative Affairs, witnessed the participation of 12 experts and specialists in the field of innovation, artificial intelligence and future foresight, who presented their lectures to 2520 participants, including 720 attendees from Dubai Police employees and 1,800 university students via the LiveTabs “Online” platform. ». The program provided Dubai Police employees and university student participants with the latest information in the field of innovation, artificial intelligence and future foresight through 12 specialized lectures, presented by experts and specialists from various entities, including the Rochester Institute of Technology, the University of Birmingham, the Canadian University in Dubai and the International Computer Corporation «IBM» » and Accenture, in cooperation with MOAN to organize events.
Colonel Mansour Al Gergawi, Director of the General Department of Administrative Affairs at Dubai Police, confirmed that the program, in its first version, witnessed a great turnout by employees in Dubai Police and students from various universities in the country because of its two titles and important topics in the field of innovation, artificial intelligence and future foresight. Lieutenant Colonel bin Sebaa Al-Marri pointed out that the participants in the program learned about topics related to modern technologies in the face of electronic fraud, in addition to an introductory comparison between data science and artificial intelligence and between deep learning and machine learning and the use of artificial intelligence to detect hate speech written in mixed languages and the “Internet.” Things» and the sustainability of innovation, and how innovation can be used to chart the course of the future.
At the end of the program, Major General Ahmed Mohamed Rafie honored the collaborators from the General Directorate of Training, the Dubai Police Academy, the Dubai Police Colleges and Universities Student Council, SITE Integrated Technology System, S Coffee, Pop City, and the dream boats to run cruises and tourism.
