In Russia, over the past day, 22,934 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected. Their total number since the beginning of the pandemic was 3 448 203. This was announced by the operational headquarters to combat the spread of infection in its Telegram-channel.
Most infections were registered in Moscow (5001), St. Petersburg (2731) and the Moscow region (1083), least of all – in the Jewish Autonomous Region (14), Chukotka (2) and Nenets (1) Autonomous Okrugs.
During the day, 24,755 people have fully recovered, since the beginning of the pandemic the total figure is 2,825,430.
Also recorded 531 deaths. For all the time, 62 804 people died.
