Circuits and dates to be confirmed
The 2024 Superbike World Championship has not yet come to an end and the world champion has not yet been proclaimed, but with two races left until the end of the championship we are already starting to look further ahead in time and at what could be the 2025 calendar. A ‘starter’ came with a provisional programwhich includes the possible dates and circuits that will welcome the series next year.
The first part
While waiting to understand what the official calendar will be, which could be released even before the Estoril Round, there have been some previews. The pilots will compete in 13 rounds totalwith the season starting as usual in Australia at the Phillip Island circuit (23 February). After a month’s stop we will arrive in Europe, a Portimaoand then start another month of stop before arriving at Assen and Aragon between April and May.
Slovakia on the calendar?
The program will be decidedly more intense between June and July, and it is in this context that we will witness the first of the two tests in Italy, in Misano. In addition to this classic, there could also be the new entry in Slovakia at the Slovakiaring, yet to be confirmed. After round a DoningtonSuperbike will actually return to Eastern Europe, first a Most (Czech Republic) and subsequently to Balatonfor the return of Hungary (which will also welcome MotoGP next year).
Turkey’s attempt
After an August devoid of races, Superbike will restart its engines Magny-Cours and then return to Italy again, this time in Cremona. The big question mark after Slovakia could be there Türkiyealso ready to enter the calendar atIstanbul Park to welcome home idol Toprak Razgatlioglu. Should the operation fail, theEstorilwith Barcelona as the 13th and final stage.
